This program is designed for the dentist with minimal experience in surgery. Emphasis is placed on bringing the dentist up to speed and comfortable with incisions, flap management, closures, and controlling the surgical environment. Equipment, materials, and techniques used for these procedures will be discussed. Strict adherence to surgical sterility and asepsis protocols will be taught.
Objectives:
To understand the rationale of use and the clinical procedures for the management of surgical procedures including:
• Surgical incisions
• Manipulation of soft tissues
• Incision line closure and suturing
• Soft tissue management for optimal esthetics
• Wound healing and complications management
This Course is 1-on-1 training for the Doctor.
