This program is designed for the dentist with minimal experience in surgery. Some of the procedures taught are atraumatic extractions, ridge maintenance grafting and augmenting minor bone defects. Equipment, materials, and techniques used for these procedures will be discussed. Strict adherence to surgical sterility and asepsis protocols will be taught.
Objectives:
To understand the rationale of use and the clinical procedures for the management of surgical procedures including:
• soft and hard tissue tuberosity reductions
• atraumatic extraction of natural teeth
To understand the surgical requirements for and receive hands-on clinical instruction for:
• fundamentals of particulate bone grafting surgery
• clinical procedures for particulate graft surgery
• clinical procedures for fine particulate graft surgery
• clinical procedures for harvesting bone in the oral cavity
• clinical procedures for coarse particulate graft surgery.
This Course is 1-on-1 training for the Doctor.
