Implant Surgery Training

This program is designed for the dentist with minimal experience in surgery. Placement of root form implants will allow the participants to treat the majority of simple cases without additional training. Equipment, materials, and techniques used for these procedures will be discussed. Strict adherence to surgical sterility and asepsis protocols will be taught.
 

Objectives

To set a foundation based on science and research by which the attending doctor can understand and evaluate all aspects for future developments in the field of Oral Implantology.
 

To understand the rationale of use and the clinical procedures for the management of surgical procedures including:
   • Immediate placement of root form implants
   • Immediate loading of root form implants
   • Managing the ailing implants
   • Removal of failing implants
 
To understand the rationale of use and the clinical procedures for different modalities of dental implants including:
   • Root form implants
   • Plate form implants
   • Ramus frame implants
   • Subperiosteal implants
   • Intramucosal implants
   • Transosteal implants
 

To understand the surgical requirements for and receive hands-on clinical instruction for:
   • Fundamentals of implant placement surgery
   • Clinical procedures for the placement of root form implants


 


This Course is 1-on-1 training for the Doctor.
